“I understand that there are 27 million slaves in the world today, but do you understand that EVERY DAY, roughly 115,000 unborn human beings are being killed by abortion? Speak up for ALL the voiceless.”
If you’re someone who cares more about an unborn clump of cells than real, living and breathing, people are being forced into physical and sexual slavery, who either don’t have parents, were kidnapped, or were sold by their parents into slavery, who live in miserable conditions and do demeaning, dehumanizing work, then I have some news for you.
YOU are what’s wrong with this world. To even compare the abortion of an unborn POTENTIAL human being to the suffering and pain that modern day slaves go through is disgusting and deplorable. I don’t care if you do or do not agree with abortion, but how can you still find that to be a greater issue than human slavery. You yourself have stated that there are 27 million slaves around the world, and yet you don’t feel impassioned to fight for them. That little clump of potential life is worthy of your pity, but real life human beings aren’t?
I mean people were on that same nonsense during the 2008 election so I don’t imagine it’ll be any more of an issue for 2012. If anything it reflects negatively on the Republicans that insinuate it. Of course the question that always needs to be asked is “So what if he was a Muslim? What the fuck difference would that make?” and any answer beyond “it doesn’t” is racist and islamophobic.
This isn’t Jeffersonian America in 1802 anymore. We aren’t a nation of port traders and farmers. It’s 2012 and there are over 310 million people on this nation. Our government is the product of over 230 years of growth. It’s an extremely complex system and millions depend on it to go about their…
Dear Studio guys, Sound Engineers, Audiophilles, and random band in a studio...
Who the fuck do you think you’re pleasing when all the bass from every song is in the right ear? Seriously? What pleasure do you get from making the right ear enjoy practically the only important part of the songs I listen to? Is it some special program fucking you up? Did your fucktard of a teacher say, “Hey, you know, I think sound should be extremely segregated.” Was that a proper lesson?
Tell you what brothers and sisters, heed my advice and please use that one ear one sound technique sparingly. That shit is annoying as hell.
From what I’ve heard, every musician has a little twitch thing they do when they get the luxury to either make their own music or put a spin on someone else’s. Sometimes it’s noticeable, Lil’B’s “swag, woop”, random singing woman’s “huh” breathing, Fancy ass guitarists “…”, or some note combination you get with jazz cats. I make a habit of finding it, and getting that warmth in my heart that says, “You’ve grown a bit closer to Charles Mingus.” It’s interesting, knowing that everywhere, musicians have their little fuck ups/signatures that make the music theirs. Of course, you could be a bitch and hate it. But that’d make you a bitch.
